Lord Of The Rings online Gold

So I choose tinker as vocation for my 2nd character because it's the only one that allows Jeweller. So I get a little starter guide for prospector, jeweller and cook. So the cook section starts me off with a simple recipe requiring spring barley. So I go to my cook trainer - he doesn't sell it. So I go to my supplier - he doesn't sell it. Turns out nobody sells it - you have to be a farmer and grow it. But I'm a tinker.
If this game has been on the go for 3+ years why is the Wiki so woefully empty? Have a look at Guild Wars wiki to see the wealth of info players can access.
And for frickfracks sake can we get more Vault keepers. All this running back and forth to empty bags is just sad. There is no vault in the Lone Lands. How can you have an entire region without a vault?
I like this game but it's beginning to seem more like a chore.
