Well I very seldom complain about the state of LOTRO. I believe if you dont like the game or the direction it's going then simply move on. But right now my problem isnt that i dislike LOTRO at all. It's that there is next to no content at endgame level.

First off I come from Final Fantasy 11 where the game doesnt even start until you reach level cap. Where there's a different endgame activity to take part in every night of the week and you still cant get it all done. So forgive me if I'm expecting a little too much for endgame content.

I think LOTRO is a great game. I love the direction it's going. I think the game has improved greatly in the past 6 months. But as good as it is, I'm still finding myself constantly bored lately. I'll log in and twiddle my thumbs and think of what to do. All the "endgame" activities that come to mind are: Skirmish, Sword Halls, Dungeons, Warg Pens, Sammath Gul, and BG. That's it. Aside from BG which takes some planning with a raid group, everything else can all be done in 1 night. After twiddling my thumbs and reviewing my options I usually just log out and do something else (most recently command and conquer 4).

I must have ran Sammath Gul 70+ times in the past 2 months. Because I wanted the loot? Partly yes. But I found it to be the best, most fun instance in the game. So I didnt mind it. It's also the ONLY 6 man endgame instance the game has to offer now. But seriously though, after 70+ runs of it, it's really lost its fun factor

Anyway, I just really hope the next big update will have a much larger variety of endgame content. And by endgame content I dont speak of useless stuff that can be done at any level like crafting, deeds, etc. I never understood why people consider that stuff to be "endgame". I guess I'm old fashioned mmo player but to me, endgame consists of activities you can only do once reaching the level cap or really close.
